Hallowgrove (also searched as "hollow grove" or "hollowgrave") is Mistfall Hunter's first map and the main stage for the early story. This guide covers its modes and requirements, the key locations, its role in the main quest, and how to extract safely.
| Mode | Difficulty | Gear requirement | Allowed bags | Revives |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hallowgrove Normal | ★★★★★ | Quality ≤ Excellent | Novice, Advanced, Pro | 1 |
| Hallowgrove Chaos | ★★★★★ | Value ≥ 1,000 · Quality ≤ Legendary | Advanced, Pro, Elite | 1 |
Normal Hallowgrove is the training-ground map: it keeps a measure of peace, extraction is comparatively easy, and most creatures have not lost control completely. Chaos is a different world — a spreading nightmare where monsters grow violent and trapped souls lose their human form. Don't queue Chaos without the gear value and bag requirement.

Hallowgrove is where the story starts. After the tutorial you arrive at Winds' Rest camp, and your first mission chain (Voice of Prayer) sends you here: Soekja the white crow guides you to Verdant Grounds, where you meet the Woodling Pip and find a follower who has lost his life to the Divine Anchor's anomaly. You bring back a damaged bell to Dew, and the investigation continues across later chapters.
Hallowgrove is also the map you must clear once solo to unlock the friend system — complete a run (speak with Pip, then extract) and crossplay parties become available from the camp.
